SEM Color Coat Vinyl dye is widely recognized and used in the upholstery industry for dying vinyl and leather soft-trim materials. We've had these custom-blended and matched to Edsel colors. Often times with 60+ year old upholstery can become discolored or stained, particularly headliners.
When your vinyl trim is still in excellent shape, vinyl dye can often bring faded, discolored or even stained vinyls back to like new.
I recommend also using SEM Soap and a couple of applications of SEM Vinyl Prep before applying 2-3 light coats of SEM Vinyl Dye.
